Why not change British regulation charger to the EU regulations

2017-01-10

British regulatory charger is not only a little big ,but it isn’t beautiful, otherwise The applicable national regions and population are less ,why not to change the US regulations and EU regulations ,which Apply more countries and regions.

The so-called US regulations, American Standard plug in the United States, Canada, Japan, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand and other countries and Taiwan, is characterized by a round of two flat. While the United States, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and other places are 110V voltage region. So its reference design should be based on 110V.

The European standard (Euro) is used in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Spain, Sweden and other countries in Europe, the vast majority of voltage is 220V, 50Hz, while the United Kingdom, according to check is 240V, 50Hz.

1).In a word, I think that  the a part of the reason is the voltage difference

2).In my impression , the British regulatory plug is a built-in fuse design, and the reason for this design should be associated with the power supply system design, so if you want to change the standard, it will be also a troublesome thing certainly
